Calling Global Change Agents

By Sonia Ribas Thursday, 07 February 2013

This week we are sharing our interview with Sarah Florance, ashtanga and yoga teacher in Barcelona and member of the Yogin' it Family.

Amongst her interesting insights, we would like to highlight the term she uses to define the Global Yoga Community: she calls us “Global Change Agents”. A global change agent is a person who seeks to improve, in one or more innovative ways, existing conditions, whether they be for people or the planet as a whole. These agents come from all walks of life. And yes, yogis can be Global Change Agents, by helping others feel better, by giving without expecting to receive and by and raising the world’s vibrational frequency.

Do you consider yourself a Global Change Agent? If so, how do you contribute to making the world a better place?
